Big Burton Jubilee
This Free 2 day event (tickets are only required for the Just The Tonic Comedy Club show on Friday 3rd June) takes place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4thJune and celebrates the 70 year reign of her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II and the launch of The Big Burton Carousel Sculpture Trail.
Supported by East Staffordshire Borough Council, the event will be situated on the Regatta Field and Stapenhill Gardens and features 4 zones that offer an exciting programme of workshops, stalls and performances across the 2 days for the whole family to enjoy, including:
Kids Zone; offering children’s crafts, balloon modelling, child friendly theatre and more
Fairground Zone; featuring a fairground carousel, games, food, local artisan market and a double decker bus bar
Wellness Zone; delivered in partnership with Burton & District Mind this zone will host classes and offer a place to relax and unwind
Performance Zone; that will showcase local bands, theatre performances and mix bill comedy from Just The Tonic Comedy Club - Use the button below to book tickets
Just the Tonic Line Up includes,
During the event there will be a kiosk to collect maps and learn more about The Big Burton Carousel sculpture trail, a 12 week trail that features 30 different carousel horses in Burton and includes 12 different themed weeks and activities.
The event opens at 10am on either day and closes at 4pm (apart from the Just The Tonic Comedy show on Friday, which will take place from 7-9pm).
The event is located at Stapenhill Gardens postcode DE15 9AP and the Regatta Fields. The Just the Tonic Comedy event will be held on the main stage, located by Ferry Bridge.
Limited parking is available at Stapenhill Gardens, however we suggest parking at Fleet Street Car Park, Burton upon Trent DE14 3RZ and walking to the event.
Tickets for the Just The Tonic Comedy Show should be booked in advance where possible, although cash payments on the night will be available.
The Just The Tonic Comedy Show is unallocated standing, although you are welcome to bring your own seating or a blanket.
Toilet facilities will be available on site.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own food, although alcohol is not permitted, unless purchased via the onsite bar.
