Pupils from a number of schools in Burton upon Trent have spent part of their school term producing artwork to help brighten up their town, in conjunction with our art tutors, as part of a new ‘Places in Spaces’ project.
The project, funded by the Welcome Back Fund, has enabled children from Holy Trinity, Anglesey and Christ Church schools the chance to work with local artists to explore different environments and creative processes, which, thanks to Burton companies Making Trails and Hardy Signs, have now been turned into displays in the towns three shopping centres.
*The Places in Spaces project is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Re-Opening high Streets Safely initiative.
