Absinthe – The Brewhouse Cabaret
Join us for a fantastic night of Cabaret featuring the fantastic talents of:
Captain Eden Jackson – described as “Hilariously Unbroadcastable” by the BBC, Captain Eden Jackson is a frenetic, chaotic and whimsical Magician and Comedian with a decade of experience performing across two continents. Coming personal themes of queerness and neurodivergence with impossible magic and nonsensical storytelling, when Eden’s on stage you never quite know what to expect. But one thing’s for certain, it will be magical.
Fleur du Mal – un nouveau frisson! The Slow-burn Seductress, and your newest guilty pleasure. A truly unique burlesque artist who has been enthralling audiences all over the UK and Europe for nearly two decades, making appearances as far afield as Iceland, Germany, Poland, France, Croatia, and Netherlands; as well as producer, hostess, and teacher at Bad Flower Burlesque in Derby. With a style that melds dark lyrical movement with her signature slow-burn striptease, her performances enchant and unsettle in equal measure.
Dan Webber – is an award-winning LGBTQ+ poet, promoter and producer based in Derby.
He has appeared at numerous festivals across the country, including Glastonbury Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Wrestival, Timber Festival, Reading Fringe Festival, Y NOT Festival and Wolverhampton Literature Festival.
Loki Lavender – By day Haydn Rhys Cawley is a costume maker and wardrobe assistant to the stars. But by night he becomes Loki Lavender, a non-conformist drag king with a musical theatre bent and a New Romantic edge. Pride mainstage performer and finalist of the Nottingham Drag Pageant 2024, come experience the musical stylings of this captivating trickster god.
