Brew-ha-ha House Comedy Club
We beat those winter blues by welcoming back our very popular stand-up comedy club set in the intimate surroundings of our bar.
We’ve put together the best nights featuring some of the most outstanding comedians touring the circuit today.
This month’s club features the excellent and downright funny comedy delights of Tadiwa Mahlunge, Dave Twentyman and Alex Hylton!
Do note that line-up is subject to change.
Tadiwa Mahlunge
Billed as “one of the country’s top new comedy acts” by The York Press, Tadiwa Mahlunge has performed at, among others, the Latitude, Greenman, and Greenwich Comedy Festivals – alongside the biggest names in comedy – and has provided tour support for Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Jessica Fostekew, and TV warm up for Desiree Birch’s Amazon Prime special.
As seen on BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC Sesh, Dave, Comedy Central, UTV, Comic Relief and heard on BBC Radio Wales and BBC Sounds – Tadiwa Mahlunge has established himself as one of comedy’s hottest prospects.
★★★★ ‘Young and gifted, he’s already looking like the complete package’ – The Scotsman
★★★★ ‘Remarkably confident, with a set as smooth as his shiny silk shirt’ – Fest Mag

Dave Twentyman
Dave is upbeat, cheery, down to earth, friendly, warm, quick on his feet…just some words that have been used to describe one of the most naturally funny comics on the UK comedy circuit today.
He has performed at a number of music festivals such as Leeds, V Festival and Download. Its no wonder then that Dave is one of the few modern comedians who proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet – a tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present and a huge honour for any comic.
‘F**king Brilliant’ JOHN BISHOP
‘More than comedy, this is hilarious therapy’ RORY BREMNER
‘Works the audience so well.’ JASON MANFORD

Alex Hylton
Leicester Comedy Festival ‘Best Show’ winner Alex Hylton is a regular at many of the top comedy clubs across the country, his everyman charm, wry observations and razor-sharp wit have made him a favourite amongst acts and audiences alike.
‘Hylton takes charge of a room, fluent and funny storytelling is second nature to this comic’ – Wee Review
