Traversing myth and realism, Kalki demonstrates that symbols of hope are as needed now as ever In Hindu mythology, Kalki is the prophesied tenth and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu; the avatar who is sent to earth to punish the wicked and rejuvenate existence by ending the dark and destructive period of Kali Yuga.

This production uses this ancient narrative to explore urgent questions raised by the crises facing the world today. Through classical Indian dance and poignant and often funny narrative, Kalki retells the Kalki myth through the experiences and perspectives of two women living in the present.
