Founding member of Ocean Colour Scene Steve Cradock has added further dates to his solo tour, following unprecedented demand from fans.

Steve has added a raft of new dates to his Travellers Tunes tour in 2027, kicking off in Bude, Cornwall, in February, and concluding at London’s Union Chapel on April 25.

Steve kicked off his tour earlier this month, and has already sold-out many dates including two nights at Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room.

The tour has been complemented by Steve’s new book – also called Travellers Tunes, and looks back on his incredible career.

As a member of Ocean Colour Scene, Steve is responsible for some of the most distinctive riffs of the past 30 years. The man gave us The Riverboat Song, Hundred Mile High City, and The Day We Caught the Train, helping propel the band to double-platinum glory with Moseley Shoals.

Hundred Mile High City gained the band further fame, when it was used in Guy Richie’s most iconic film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998.

OCS was founded in 1989 by Steve, Simon Fowler, Damon Michella, and Oscar Harrison in Solihull, West Midlands. They rose to fame during the height of the Brit rock renaissance, had five top 10 albums, and played in front of 250,000 people at Oasis’s seminal Knebworth Park gigs in 1996.

Cradock went on to establish himself further when he joined Paul Weller’s band in 1992, appearing on all his studio albums. He also joined the Iconic Ska band The Specials in 2014 until the death of Terry Hall in 2022. In his debut tour, Steve will be playing and performing hits from the OCS songbook, highlights from his extensive solo career, and will also be discussing some of the topics his fans are most curious about.

Steve said: “I am having a brilliant time on the road right now and when the opportunity to do it all again next year [was discussed], I couldn’t refuse.”

Tickets go on sale at 10:00 on Friday, March 20, 2026. For more details go to Travellers Tunes – Brewhouse Arts Centre and Café Bar

Happy Mondays frontman, Shaun Ryder, has released a new book packed with jaw-dropping, side-splitting, mind-bending stories.

Following the success of his first book – Shaun Ryder: Happy Mondays, And Fridays, And Saturdays, And Sundays – he’s released a second memoir of madness, music and mayhem. Available to pre-order from awaywithmedia.com, 24 Hour Party Person is a no-holds-barred ride through the highs, lows and chemically-enhanced in-betweens of a true rock ’n’ roll original.

Dodging bullets in Jamaica, surviving a gunpoint ordeal in New York and escaping kidnap in Amsterdam are just part of this unfiltered gospel according to the Happy Mondays and Black Grape frontman.

With a wit sharper than a dealer’s razor and stories wilder than Bez on a trampoline, Shaun lifts the lid on the studio sessions, the bust-ups, the benders, the making of era-defining albums – and the importance of family.

It’s a tale of survival, swagger and second chances. Strap yourself in… and prepare to have your melons well and truly twisted.

Shaun said: “I had a right laugh writing my first book and people liked it so when the chance to write another came up, I thought ‘why not?’ I’ve got even more mad tales to tell. I’ve written more books than Shakespeare now – well, nearly!”

Each copy is signed personally by Shaun Ryder on an exclusive book plate. The book compliments Shaun’s Q&A tour which returns to theatres in England this autumn.

Books, priced £45, are available to pre-order now. Full details here.

Shaun is bringing his tour to the Brewhouse this October, get your tickets today! Shaun Ryder – Happy Mondays, & Fridays, & Saturdays, & Sundays – Brewhouse Arts Centre and Café Bar
