Design a Plate Competition Winners

Come and celebrate the creativity of Staffordshire’s young people! As part of Staffordshire Day 2025, twenty primary schools from across the county took part in a special competition to design a Staffordshire-themed plate. The aim was to inspire civic pride and showcase everything that makes our county such a fantastic place.

After a public vote, nine winning designs were selected, each representing a different area of Staffordshire. These winning designs have now been brought to life by renowned Stoke-on-Trent ceramic makers Duchess China 1888.

The finished plates are now on display here at the Brewhouse Arts Centre. Drop in during our opening hours and see this wonderful showcase of local creativity and pride.
