Curious about careers in the visual or digital arts?

This session dives into:

  • Pathways in design, fine art, graphic design, animation, and game design.
  • What working as an ‘artist’ or ‘maker’ actually involves.
  • How to develop your skills into a professional practice.
  • The many different types of jobs you could use your skills in, and where they overlap.
  • The realities of freelancing vs working for studios, agencies, or organisations.
  • Tools and resources to help you get started.

Who it’s for:

If you’re creative with your hands or can bring something to life through code, this one’s for you.

This session is targeted at young people aged 16–25 who are creative, curious, and want to explore creative careers; no experience needed.
