Breaking In: Creative Portfolio and CV Clinic
Creative Portfolio and CV Clinic
Standing out in the creative industries is about showing who you are, as much as what you can do.
In this practical clinic, we’ll explore:
- How to find and talk about your creative identity.
- Tips for discovering your niche as a freelancer.
- Writing a CV that highlights creative strengths.
- Building a portfolio, even if you don’t have paid work yet.
- Creating interest in your work and sharing it with a wider audience.
- The do’s and don’ts of networking and making new contacts.
- Ways to showcase your work across different platforms.
Bring your questions and CV/portfolio, and leave with a stronger toolkit for presenting yourself and showing off what you can do.
