This summer the Brewhouse Arts Centre is delighted to be part of Staffordshire County Council’s HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme  offering a programme of FREE creative workshops for eligible children and young people throughout the summer holidays.

The HAF programme provides enriching holiday activities and a healthy meal for children and young people aged 5–16 who receive benefit-related Free School Meals. Activities take place across Staffordshire from 20 July to 31 August 2026, with eligible children able to book up to 16 free sessions across the programme.

Playing with Puppetry

Join dance artists Freya Davis and Lexy Garner for their themed movement workshop “Cosmic Quest”. Expect games and icebreakers, music and sensory explorations and creative tasks inspired by rockets, planets and meteor showers. This session encourages dance, creativity, confidence, and playful participation in a fun and welcoming environment for all abilities to leave young people feeling energised and proud. This session is recommended for ages 11 – 16.
