Home is where the art is

Home is where we feel safe, whether that home is a physical space or a community. And when we feel safe, we can be our most creative.

This exhibition celebrates the artists and makers of the Newhall Creative Collective (NCC) and highlights how art serves as both a safe space and a means of self-expression.

Centred around beautiful hand-printed wallpaper the exhibition showcases some of the art that NCC are most proud of and a glimpse into how their artistic practice, confidence, and group has grown.

Meeting weekly at St. John’s Church in Newhall, NCC work with People Express (a participatory and community arts charity) to commission professional artists to help the group to use art to make connections, try new things, and find community through shared creativity.
