Threshed Memories/Little Pieces of Me

Alison Woolacott is a conceptual artist living in Moira. Her work is experiential, often autobiographical, creating installation pieces depicting memories. Working with mixed media, she makes use of found objects and digital media to translate her experiences.

In the making of ‘Threshed Memories/Little Pieces of Me’ Alison has reconnected with her inner child with the intension of releasing repressed emotional states which are now embodied in her work. Alison lived in a farmhouse as a young child and has chosen straw as her predominant medium for this exhibition.
